“When someone comes into my office looking for an attorney, it’s normally because something devastating has happened to him or her. He or she needs help. And it’s my job to help. To fight my guts out to get them the justice they deserve. And to guide and comfort them, as best as I can, through a scary and daunting process.”
Walt Cubberly works in Williams Hart & Boundas’s defective pharmaceuticals and personal injury sections. Walt loves his job because every day he gets to help his clients by fighting against the companies that hurt them. He has litigated in state and federal courts.
Walt grew up in Houston, attending Lamar High School, where he played baseball. After graduating from the University of Texas, Walt attended the University of Houston Law School. He graduated tenth in his law class and then he clerked for Justice Phil Johnson of the Texas Supreme Court.
Walt loves trying cases and has litigated in courts throughout the country. He is licensed to practice in California, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Texas. He is on leadership for the Lyft JCCP and the Uber JCCP in California.
When Walt isn’t working, he likes hunting, watching the Astros, and making bad jokes.
