Sejal Brahmbhatt Named 2026 Recipient of the AAJ Dawn Barrios Spotlight Award

Williams Hart & Boundas, LLP is proud to share big news. Partner Sejal Brahmbhatt is the 2026 Recipient of the American Association for Justice’s Dawn Barrios Spotlight Award. The Women Trial Lawyers Caucus of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) gave her this honor at the 2026 AAJ Annual Convention, officially known as the Dawn Barrios Memorial Spotlight.

This kind of honor does not happen by chance. It comes from years of steady work on behalf of injured clients. Everyone at Williams Hart & Boundas, LLP sends warm congratulations to Sejal on this well-earned achievement.

About the Dawn Barrios Spotlight Award

The AAJ Women Trial Lawyers Caucus first created this spotlight award in 2024. In 2026, the Caucus dedicated it to the memory of Dawn M. Barrios, a longtime trial lawyer known for her service to the legal community. The award now carries her name and goes each year to a Caucus member who has worked hard for clients in cases that made a real difference.

Recipients tend to share a few common traits:

  • Steady advocacy for clients in hard-fought cases
  • Leadership within the trial lawyer community
  • A record of results that shows real dedication to the people they represent

What This Recognition Means for Clients

When you pick a law firm after an injury, you want lawyers who know how to fight and win. National recognition like the Dawn Barrios Memorial Spotlight Award gives you a clear sign of that. It tells you that other trial lawyers across the country see Sejal’s work and respect it.

This matters most when the stakes are high. Whether the case involves a defective drug, a rideshare crash, or another serious injury, clients want a lawyer who will stay with the case from start to finish and push hard for a fair outcome. Sejal’s award, and the firm’s decades of results, point to exactly that kind of commitment.
